Join a Martial Arts Manchester Class and Expand Your Family

If you have been considering joining a martial arts Manchester class you have so much more to gain than a new hobby.  Most people are aware that martial arts can help with both physical and mental health but most do not realise that they are great for social reasons too.  When you enrol in a new martial arts class you will be learning a sport that has been followed by generations; you will become part of a large global community and a small family community too.
Your Role as a Junior Student
When you enter into a martial arts Manchester class for the first time you will probably already have some expectations about what you will be doing during the class.  Try to ignore your assumptions and expectations as focusing on them too much could end up clouding your judgement and the rate at which you learn.  Junior martial arts students have the following responsibilities:
1.     To ask questions of your instructor
2.     To mimic the training routines that the senior students and instructors teach you
3.     To try your best and work as hard as possible
Of the above three responsibilities the third one is the most important.  The harder that you work in a martial arts class the more you will impress your instructors and those around you with your dedication.  It is often said that hard work outshines everything else in a martial arts Manchester class so even if you do struggle with the moves at first, your desire to learn will be noticed and appreciated.
Of course if you struggle to pick up the routines you should ask your instructor to take you through them again until you can pick them up.  You are paying for the lessons after all so you don’t want your money to go to waste.  One of the main things that cause people to struggle with martial arts moves is the detail, you may think that you have picked up a move but if it is not working well for you, it is likely that you need to continue practicing.
Moving Up to a Senior Student
As you start to gain experience in your martial arts Manchester class your dedication will be rewarded and you will in time move up to a senior student position in your martial arts family.  The fact that you have moved into this position may not be immediately apparent but there are a few more responsibilities that you will have as you move up:
1.     You should be willing to train with and assist those that are at a lower level
2.     You should plan a strategy with your instructor which will focus on your growth in the sport
3.     To try your best and work as hard as possible
A martial arts family really is a close-knit group of people who all share a similar interest and by working hard and with each other everyone succeeds and improves.  If you want to reap the benefits of a martial arts Manchester class, sign up today to begin your journey.
